Appendix

The appendix is an organ in the bodies of most mammals, as well as humans. Evolutionists consider it a vestigial organ on the grounds of having no apparent purpose, but recent research suggests that it may function as a reservoir for beneficial stomach bacteria (the "gut flora").[1]
