Deuteronomy
From A Storehouse of Knowledge
Etymology:
"Deuteronomy" is from the Greek δευτερος for "second" and νομος for "law".Deuteronomy is the fifth book of the Bible and the last of the Pentateuch. Most of it takes the form of laws given by God to the Jewish people via Moses. These laws form an addition to those given in Leviticus, although there is some duplication. There is also some narrative in the book: it ends by recounting the death of Moses, which marked the end of the era of the Exodus from Egypt in Israelite history.
