Jump to: navigation, search

Humans (Homo sapiens) are the dominant species on planet Earth. Biosystematically, humans are classed as mammals. They are placed under the order primates in the family Hominidea.

Spiritually, humans are set apart from other mammals because they were created in God's image and given custody over His creation.

To a great extent, Humans are more intelligent and culturally developed than other species. This has resulted in several unique traits:

  • An unsurpassed depth of communication, in art as well as language.
  • Detailed and abstract concepts of morality.
  • A understanding of the nature of sin.

There are an estimated 6.8 billion humans[1].
