    • EditSubpages extension added.

    • SpamBlacklist extension added.

      • QPreview gadget added. (But doesn't appear to work.)

    • Senior member group given 'delete' (but not 'bigdelete') rights.
    • Delete limit set to 2 (requires 'bigdelete' right to delete pages with more than two revisions).

    • CheckUser extension added.

    • Altered AjaxPreview to invoke Reftagger in its previews.
  • 11 December 2009
    • Semantic MediaWiki replaced with v.1.4.3 with customisations to the date type as used on CreationWiki.
  • 13 December 2009
    • Semantic Result Formats extension added. This provides additional formats for Semantic MediaWiki.
    • SpecialInterwiki extension added. This allows users to see the full list of interwiki prefixes.
    • Interwiki linking enabled for MediaWiki:Help (mwh), MediaWiki:Extensions (mwe), and Semantic MediaWiki:Help (smwh).
    • Maps extension added. It can display maps using Google maps and other mapping services (Yahoo Maps has not been enabled at this stage). The default is Google maps.
    • Semantic Maps extension added. This allows the semantic queries to use a map format.

2010

  • 17 February 2010
    • Maximum user name length set to 30 characters. [See 24th September 2010, below]

    • SpecialUploadLocal extension added. This extension, however, is only useful to someone with server access which effectively means just the site owner (it "uploads" from the server). It allows for bulk uploading of many files in one operation.

    • Maximum user name length set to 30 characters. 17th February setting was actually to signature length, and that has been reset to the default.

  • Route extension upgraded with additional functionality.

    • Disable page creation for non-auto-confirmed users, and set autoconfirmation to 3 minutes. Hopefully this will stymie most of the current crop of spammers without inconveniencing genuine new editors.
