From A Storehouse of Knowledge
Jump to: navigation, search

A beehive is the dwelling-place of bees. Beehives may be natural, constructed by the bees themselves, or artificial, used by beekeepers who keep bees in order to harvest their honey. Beehives are complex social environments, where each individual bee performs a particular function for the good of all the bees in the hive.
