Brain

The brain is an organ located in the head of most complex living things. It is the center of the central nervous system. The brain controls the senses, the motor system, and the sleep cycle, among others. Philosophically, the brain also is the physical embodiment of the mind.

The human brain is located in the head and is protected by the skull. It is divided into several parts, which include:

    • parietal lobe
    • occipital lobe
    • temporal lobe
