Dim sim

A dim sim is an Australian snack food available from takeaway shops.

They were invented by Chinese chef William Wing Young in Melbourne in 1945.

Dim sims are like a small dumpling, containing meat, cabbage, and other ingredients, in a dumpling-type wrapper. They are normally deep fried, but steamed dim sims are also popular. They are often served with soy sauce.
