Muse (band)

Template:Stu Ms is an alternative/progressive rock band from Devon, England. They are a trio comprised of three members: Matthew Bellamy(lead singer and guitrist), Chris Wolstenholm(bass guitarist) and Dominic Howard(drummer)[1]. The band has produced seven album- with two being live performances.

History

The band fist formed under the name "Muse" in Teignmouth, Devon in 1994. They had originally met each other at the local school. Dominic Howard was playing drums for a different band (Carnage Mayhem) Mr.Bellamyand formed a "proto-band" under the name "Rocket baby dolls". The name wasn't a particularl appealing one, so they decided to change it to "Muse in 1994[2]. They have released a series of albums. In chronological order they are: Shobiz(1999), Originof Symmetry(2001), Hullabaloo (live:2001), Absolution(2004), Black Holes and Revelatins(2006), HAARP(live:2007) and The Resistance (2009)[3].
