Thanks. It's good to be here. Hope I can help! WesleySTalk 02:35, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the welcome.--MikeM 00:46, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Thanks from me, too. Just ignore the message I sent from CP via the e-mail feature; looks like you got the word already.--Frey 15:50, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

Element pages

Excellent work on the element pages. Historian 23:46, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. I finally have an extended amount of time to do something here. Stupid job!! :) WesleySTalk 23:48, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
I started adding to the tron elements page. Is what I have done what was intended or should I begin new pages ? Hamster 02:27, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
You did right. I just wanted to get them all started with the infobox (to get it out of the way). WesleySTalk 02:29, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
ok, I will try to update some of the more common ones to start. Hamster 03:55, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Cool. Thanks. WesleySSpeak 04:00, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Here here!

I clicked on recent changes and noticed all of your werks on the elements, good job, Wesley! I'm still looking for what niche I can fill here and hoping that the copyright situation sorts itself out. 17:59, 29 March 2009 (UTC) Cяacke®

Why, thank you sir! WesleySSpeak 18:01, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
You are really doing a great job on making all those pages Wesley! :-) Keep up the good work! Taj 20:14, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
Thanks, Taj! WesleySSpeak 21:32, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

Since I dunno how you use your watchlist...

JasonD removed the category from the {{world leaders}} template (check the history for his reasoning), and I removed the stated category from the doc (which didn't match the one that was actually used by the template, oddly enough). Since categories seem to be a major field of yours, I felt that I should alert you - after all, it might cause certain articles to suddenly vanish from certain categories. --Sid 22:36, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

Thanks, Sid. One things for sure, templates are not my thing. --שεṣĿεўŚЅρƏäќëŕfáčΣ 01:46, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Membership nomination

WesleyS was nominated for membership, but the voting was cancelled because WesleyS coincidentally applied for membership on the grounds of a history of editing at another site and demonstrating that he was the same person, and was granted membership that way..

Thank you! --WesleySHello! 02:37, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Thnks fr th wlcm!

Mahalo for the welcome msg!--Master of Puppets 22:40, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Just some thought for the elements

... the densities really ought to have units. And "classification" isn't really right, although it may be difficult to change. State (or phase) of matter under standard conditions is long to be fair... Sterile 02:19, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Densities had units at one point. Classification seemed right at the time, because it wasn't describing "phases" per se, but whether an element is a semi-metal, transition metal, noble gas, etc. Phase would entail just solid/liquid/gas. --WesleySHello! 10:40, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
The units were removed by Bradley as part of an upgrade of the template to use SMW. He may have been thinking that SMW would supply the unit itself. Anyway, I've reinstated it. Philip J. Raymentdiscuss 04:05, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Glad to see you're feeling better.--CPalmer 11:21, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Thanks a lot. I had a bit of minor surgery, and I was off of work all week. I wasn't getting anywhere near a computer during that time, spare the occasional 5 minutes to check my email. --WesleySHello! 12:32, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Copyright Question

Would you mind me copying the full text of the Anderson Silva article at CP? --JY23 22:21, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

No problem. All I did was change a couple words. Any other articles I contributed to, feel free to bring them over. Keep in mind that you may have to expand upon/rephrase the articles you bring from CP due to aSK's rules on copying from other websites. --WesleySHello! 10:48, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
One final question, I e-mailed about becoming a member but have not received a response. I have a proven track record of editing at CP (the only time I was blocked was when the Guard Dog screwed up and blocked all non-sysops), so do I need to prove that I am the same JY23 here as there, or what? Thank you for your time, --JY23 20:02, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
What I had to do (before my email was blocked at CP) was email Philip from my CP account to prove that I was one in the same. For the time being, I'll nominate you for membership. --WesleySHello! 22:31, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Ah, thank you very much. I'll get working on some of those NFL articles now. --JY23 23:03, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Thank you!

Thank you for voting for my membership (and nominating me, for that matter!) --JY23 21:23, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

No problem. I knew you'd get voted in quickly. --WesleySHello! 23:41, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Just a quick question...

You probably get this a lot but I was just wondering, are you Wesley Snipes? Or named after him or anything? SuperJosh 16:41, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Um, no. I'm named after the founder of Methodism, John Wesley, although my nickname was "Snipes" in high school. As for the "S", let's leave it like Truman's parent's did. --WesleySHello! 17:25, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Nice call, Wes!

I must admit I certainly was worried about Denver's season before it began, especially after that linebacker-less draft. But, now they're 4-0 in a division where you can win 9 games and get into the playoffs. Two more games against KC and another one against Oakland gives me some additional hope. You're a true visionary, and I certainly hope the Steelers'll get their record up soon. Just for the record, that SD defense is a JOKE. --JY23 22:42, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

What can I say, I know my NFL! I admit I am surprised by Kyle Orton's performance, though. The SD defense is a joke, and you get to play them more than once as well. --WesleySHello! 00:50, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
From common Super Bowl pick to complete sham, oh, how the not-so-mighty have fallen! lol They're as 1D as Denver was last year, and their running game isn't gonna look too good when they come to Invesco! Or when we go to Qualcomm (or whatever it's called now) for that matter... --JY23 02:06, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
